Horsemanship is the art of communication through riding, handling, and training horses. As we embark on our journey of becoming a horsewoman, there are some fundamentals skills we must learn about. During this 12-week course you will be introduced to these four basic, yet very powerful, skills that master horsemen have devoted their lives to become proficient at in their work with horses.
A horseman needs to understand the power of their focus and how it effects their horse. Begin to explore the meaning of "feel" and how to use it while working with horses. Know that timing is the key to helping our horses become more confident and responsive. Learn all the meanings of balance and that it is the key to success.
