1:1 Horsemanship Mentorship
The Inner Work of the Horsewoman
1:1 Horsemanship Mentorship
There are moments with your horse when something doesn't quite feel right.
You're trying to do the right thing…
but the response you're getting doesn't match what you intended.
Or maybe things feel inconsistent—
clear one day, uncertain the next.
This work creates space to slow down and understand what's actually happening beneath the surface—
both in your horse, and within yourself.
What This Work Is
This isn't traditional training.
It's not about fixing behavior or pushing through resistance.
It's about learning how to:
- recognize what your horse is responding to
- understand your own internal state in the moment
- and begin showing up in a way your horse can trust
As you become more rooted, regulated, and anchored,
your horse feels it—and responds differently.
What We Work With
Each session is shaped around you, your horse, and what you're navigating.
This may include:
- Loss of confidence or feeling unsure around your horse
- Inconsistent or confusing responses from your horse
- Fear, tension, or hesitation (in either horse or rider)
- Difficulty creating clear communication
- Wanting a deeper, more connected partnership
- Understanding how your internal state affects your horse
This is practical, real-life work—not theory.
How Sessions Work
Sessions are one-on-one and personalized.
Depending on your situation, this may include:
- Working together in person (if local)
- Remote support through video review and Zoom
- Ongoing mentorship for continued support and growth
There's no set formula.
We work with what's actually happening…
and build from there.
What You Can Expect
Over time, most women begin to notice:
- More steadiness and clarity within themselves
- A greater ability to stay present under pressure
- Clearer communication with their horse
- Increased trust—both in themselves and their horse
- A shift in how their horse responds to them
Not because they've learned more techniques…
But because they're showing up differently.
Who This Is For
This is for women who:
- feel like something is missing in their relationship with their horse
- are tired of second-guessing themselves
- want to feel more confident, steady, and clear
- are open to looking at what's happening within—not just with the horse

From there, we’ll connect briefly to get a sense of what you and your horse are navigating and whether this is the right fit.
I work with a small number of clients at a time so each person receives thoughtful, individualized support.
